Got one last year and was definitely impressed. Been ice fishing for years, but was new to the Auto hook setter. Couldn't have asked for a better product. Took a little getting used to to set up, but once that was handled, it was awesome. Picking up two more this year, to replace my traditional tip ups.

Bought a couple of these Predators for recent ice fishing trip to MN and they were awesome. On the auto mode they hooked every fish (pan fish to pike) perfectly in the corner of the mouth. Made it very easy to unhook and quickly release the fish and never got bit off by the pike because the hook was in the corner of the mouth. Awesome product!

Crack the whip and jack the jaw! This thing don’t play! She is meaner that a rattle snake when a fish hits this thing!

I've used a couple of other brands for automatic hook setting tips in the past and the Predator is by far the toughest and easiest one to use on the market! They are very heavy duty, but very easy to setup in less than 10 seconds. I use them for pike, bass, and trout here in the Black Hills and love the simplicity of them. Even my young daughter can set it up by herself! This is a homerun for those who love to tip up fish!

Fighting fish on rod and reel is way more fun than hand lining on a traditional tip up. The best part is, you get two devices in one set up, want the predator to set the hook, change out the mechanism to the auto hooking. If you want the set line, unclip the pin and go. This is extremely easy to use.

This hook setting tip up is far and away better than other brands I’ve used in the past. It folds nice and is very durable!

The Predator Tip Up is one of my favorite Clam products. I used these everyday on the ice last season and was super impressed. I absolutely love the automatic hook setting feature. In my first 10 flags I caught 9 fish. That is a 90% hook up ratio! This will turn your day of fishing into catching. No more false flags or dropped baits. When a fish bites, you catch it. Get one and see for yourself! They are also extremely durable and built to last. I would highly recommend these for chasing Pike, but they can be used for a variety of other species as well.

Love the versatility of auto-set or more traditional and being able to use a rod and reel to fight the fish.

I just wanted one for myself since I live in my Minnesota my cousin in Wisconsin has one I tried last winter while hard water fishing it worked as it should happy I picked one up
