I'm assuming the "other part" that the previous reviewer, "JImmy", mentions is the gimbal for the Vexilar. If Jimmy had done his research he would have realized that the only place to get that gimbal is from Vexilar. He would encounter the same thing from any other mount manufacturer such as Johnny Ray or RAM. To expect any company that is NOT Vexilar to provide the gimbal is ridiculous! This product is well designed and very durable. The assortment of mounting holes fits virtually any gimbal on the market. In fact, have yet to find a gimbal that doesn't align with one of the hole patterns in this plate. Adding the ClamLock system to any of your electronics with this mount is the ultimate in versatility allowing to move from boat to fish house to snowmobile to to canoe to fish trap or anywhere else you want to mount a ClamLock base plate.

Don’t buy this for vex , you need other parts which they don’t tell you nor is there instructions with this product not happy with clam figured I would give them a shot it’s a great idea poor execution
