Great for big fish!Used the 42 Heavy at Bakers Narrows last winter and it handled every lake trout, walleye, pike and burbot like a dream for a fraction of the cost of custom rods!

Probably the best mass produced ice rod on the market!With all the ice rods I've used over the years, the Katana series is probably the best ones that I have ever used! They are extremely lightweight and sensitive, so much so that I feel the bite before I see it even on the noodle version. You have to get this rod into your hand to believe it. There is probably no better ice rod (short of expensive custom ones) on the market today!

Probably the best mass produced rod on the ice market!You really have to get this rod into your hands to feel how fantastic of a rod it is! So light and uber-sensitive, I've had no problems feeling the bite before seeing the bite, even on the noodle rods. I own four models of this rod and can honestly say, short of more expensive custom rods, there is no better rod on the market in terms of quality, sensitivity, or fish-catching power for the price point!
