The Jason Mitchell Dead Meat Rod is the evolution of the popular Jason Mitchell Meat Stick Rod. This rod features oversized guides, helping prevent your line from freezing to your guides, which is incredibly important for ice anglers who like to fish outside. The solid fiberglass rod blank will provide a super strong backbone with a very sensitive bite detection tip. Anglers will be able to have a strong hookset when they see their tip move with a slight bite at the end of their line.

My initial one's tip broke before I got to use it but Clam was quick and awesome about replacing it. They understand it's a very sensitive tip but if there's no defect it's still plenty strong for the fights its meant for.Posted on

Perfect dead stickI have the 36” medium and it is perfect for my dead stick presentations. Very soft tip. You can see the fathead minnow kicking. I paired it with a bait feeder reel and am happy with with the setup.

Great RodOverall great rod, soft tip is great, and the strong backbone is capable for fighting bigger fish. I have 32M and is perfect for walleye.
