Safety FirstProbably the one of the most important tools to take with you not just for early ice but for the whole season. Lightweight and you hardly notice them around your neck. 2nd review. 1st wasn’t posted. Wonder whyOrdered floating ice picks 11/25. Opened 12/25 for ice season. Magnet missing. Emailed Clam multiple times. No response. Left a review with picture stating the same. It wasn’t posted for some reason. Better luck next time for someone else. I’ll purchase another brand.

Magnet fell out.Bought new 11/25. Opened them yesterday 12/11/25 one of the magnets that hold it together fell off.

New FavoritesLove these new ice picks. Coiled cord keeps them out of the way while fishing. Strong magnets mean they stay securely attached until needed. Deployment is quick and instinctive. Wear a float suit and keep a pair of these around your neck every time you go out on the ice.

Better than standard picksThese hold together much better than the garden variety picks, and the handles are larger which are a better fit for my hands.

These are the ice picks for everyone!While not the sexiest of ice products, ice picks are probably one of the most important items needed, especially on first and last ice. These new deluxe ice picks are probably the best and easiest ones I've ever used. The magnets are strong enough to keep them together, but pull apart easily which would be a good feature to have if you were to ever go through. The cable is loose enough where it's not keeping the picks up by your throat, but tight enough where they will not pop off your head. And the foam grips are a lot nicer than the hard plastics of cheaper ones. A nice upgrade to an otherwise necessary accessory
