The Jason Mitchell Mackinaw rods were designed extensively to tame large fish like Lake Trout, Pike, and Salmon. The graphite blank on the bait cast rods feature a spiraled guide wrap for better shock absorption and sensitivity. The handle is designed extra-long past the reel seat for better balance while jigging all day and provides extra leverage for the heaviest of game fish. Extra Heavy models feature heavy-duty stainless framed guides with aluminum inserts.
